Board of Architectural Review
The FIP Board of Architectural Review (BAR) is comprised of fellow property owners responsible for reviewing all applications for improvement to the exterior of our homes/commercial structures or to the property itself. In addition to the Covenants Restrictions & Easements document, each application submitted will be compared to the BAR Guidelines for compliance. All applicable documents can be found under the documents tab.
At present, the BAR meets in the Amenity Center on the second and last Thursdays of each month at 5:30pm. Applications are available via the links on the home page. Please click project name for the correct application. The BAR Guidelines for Residential & Commercial properties can be found by clicking the link at the bottom of the page.
Examples of improvements that require BAR approval:
- Additions and/or Structural Changes
- Concrete Decorative Borders
- Driveway, Walkway, Patio Extension/Expansion
- Exterior Color
- Fence Plan and Detail
- Landscape Plan
- Playground Equipment
- Pool Plan and Detail
- Roof Replacement
- Screened Enclosures
NOTE: Residents who live in a neighborhood that has its own homeowner sub-association must contact their sub-HOA Board or management company for their individual BAR Guidelines and application forms.
The Property Manager is present at all meetings to facilitate and answers questions.
